Event in support of Chris Mitchell Foundation
Plans are coming together well for Walking Football Forth Valley’s charity musical social evening in Alloa Bowling Club next Thursday in aid of the Chris Mitchell Foundation.
Performers will include:
our resident bard, Robert (Burns) McLaren, who has also kindly agreed to supply the PA system;
Garry (the barber) Sturrock;
Peter Davie on accordion with possibly another member of Chapter Four;
Soul Inferno’s Stuart Grant;
and recently returned from his recording session in Nashville, Joe (Country boy) Young.
So far, about 30 of you have said you are coming. If you are planning on attending and haven’t yet confirmed, please let Bob, Tony or myself know by Friday so we can give the caterers accurate numbers. The evening starts at 7.00, and Tony McGrady will collect your £10 on the night (or before if you’d prefer).
